Mowing Questions

Q: If I currently have mowing service, do I still need to contact you to get it started again each spring?

A: Yes! Before we start mowing, we want to check if there are any changes (i.e. new fences, pools, sprinklers, baby llamas, dogs, etc...) that we should be aware of in your yard.

Q: I want to be mowed on Fridays. Why can’t I be mowed on Friday?

A: We wish we could mow everyone on Friday, but unfortunately there just isn't enough daylight. This also helps with our routing which gives us the ability to not raise fees as high as our competitors. We will make every effort to mow you on the next available day.

Q: What happens to the mowing schedule when it rains?

A: There is no need to worry! We will mow your lawn just as soon as bovinely possible. You are only charged for the mowing visits that occurs.

Q: I only want to be cut every other week during the spring, is this possible?

A: Because the grass grows so rapidly in the spring, we mow every week to make sure your property always looks professionally maintained.

Q: Will you blade edge my side walk and driveway?

A: We edge your sidewalk and driveway using a trimmer; however, should you prefer the blade edge, we do charge a very small fee.

Q: Why don’t you bag my lawn clippings?

A: Allowing grass clippings to naturally decompose into your soil is the healthiest way to provide nutrients for your turf grass. Continual removal of clippings can put your lawn at a nutrient deficit thus requiring additional fertilizer or nutrients to maintain it. We only want to apply what your lawn needs.
